"I don't like explaining songs. But in this case: it's about the conflict between Wagner's music, which is undoubtedly great, and his person, who undoubtedly had disgusting traits. I don't want to trivialize anti-Semitism. I do not want to deny the Holocaust. I do not want to glorify German culture. And there is no but about that! Spinne am Abend is 100% against fascism, racism, sexism, speciesism... I think we understand each other."
